The project creates a place to connect experts in psychology, psychotherapy, psychiatry, and ethnology, who are engaged in research and treatment of transgenerational transmission of Holocaust trauma. Experts who examine the group/family memory of Holocaust survivors and their communication of this experience in the family, the community, and the public discourse. They come from the fact that many untreated traumas from the Holocaust are transmitted to future generations.
The aim of the multidisciplinary platform created by the project is to exchange information and experience on this issue within the Visegrad countries and to share new knowledge on trauma treatment for Jewish communities and professionals who deal with problems related to this area in their practical activities.
