This publication contains a personal bibliography of Soňa Burlasová (1927 – 2021), the Slovak ethnomusicologist of Middle-European importance. Soňa Burlasová worked in the Ethnographic Institute of the SAS (today´s Institute of Ethnology and Social Anthropology SAS) more than 30 years (1954 – 1989) and during her work she wrote a number of important studies on regional song styles (Horehronie and Hont region), song genres (ballads, funeral laments, military songs, etc.), new songs (songs about collective farms and partisan songs), as well as robber´s and worker´s songs. She was also an author of various theoretical studies. Besides the bibliography, readers can also learn about the local and international context of her works from the introduction written by Eva Krekovičová on the basis of an interview with Soňa Burlasová and an in-depth professional description of her work.
